Safe to say that has changed for the better recently, as I have found someone who reciprocated my affections, and for the first time I feel close to someone.

Not to say I haven't had any beneficial relationships in the past, but none that could ever become intimate, which is where this relationship differs from the others. I always knew that there were people who liked me and that there was family who loved me, but there was always that connection that wasn't solidified by blood or friendship that I never thought I could achieve.

Well... I proved myself wrong there. And so happy I did.

Anyway, a haiku dedicated to that feeling. Hope you all like it.

Written in a couple of minutes before my first class today. Creativity at the weirdest times, I tell you...
